The ADVENTURE OF BILIKI THE PEPPER SELLER EPISODE 8

Mama we need to see the DPO's wife and beg her. The next day, They went to meet the wife.   They knocked the gate and was surprised to see a new gateman, wondering where baba tawa is,they were about to enter,when he shouted,wait outside,who are you looking for?they both chorused,Madam.

The gateman returned,Madam is not around,oya come and be going,but Biliki and her could see a red car inside the compound when the gateman is talking and the car belongs to the D.P.O wife.They tried forcefully to enter but the gateman pushed them roughly and locked the gate.All effort to see her that afternoon was in vain.They waited till evening,and fortunately the madam car came out the gate,bilikiand mother rushed quickly infront of the car before it drove off.The driver shouted,leave that place o,I ll hit you but madam shut him up.Sorry madam,I no know u Sabi Dem.i said shut dirty mouth off!

The D.P.O came out of the car,looked at mother and child miserably and hissed.what do you want?Mama biliki started talking but was rudely cut off by the madam.you killed my husband!they were shocked,no we didn't.You will not know when you passed your misfortune to my husband,just because he helped you and your wretched child.i will not allow your message misfortune to come to me and my children,God forbid.so leave and I don't want to see you again,laye.they kneeled and pleaded bit it all fell on deaf ear.

  What does Life has to offer? Life which is full of Evil, Life which is full of Horror,No joy from morning till night (sobs)  Life where sorrow last longer than joy ,Just as Rabbit bites and caress ,so does human behaves. (sigh) Is there any sacrifice to enjoying life without blemish? Please tell me I will bear it.Is there any drum one can beat to the tune of Life, Please tell me I will buy it order not to face the trauma of Life. Sometimes, I feel like giving up on Life. Some other times I put my head up.  only if I could turn back the hands of time  maybe I would refuse to come to this world of Terror. Mama Biliki wept ,she moved closer to her mother rubbing her shoulder. Please don't weep  mama ,sooner or later everything will be alright (sobs) They hug each other)
