The ADVENTURE OF BILIKI THE PEPPER SELLER EPISODE 5st

On that fateful day, she was preparing to take her daughter to Baba Kuja when she heard a knock on her door, It was a man. The man was among those that carried Biliki to the hospital when the incident happened. “Madam, I've been to the hospital where your daughter was admitted, I was told she’d been carried away from the hospital, so I had to find my way down here to check on her well-being”, the man said. She then narrated the whole story to the man and he promised to help Biliki back to her feet and he also promised to sue those evil doers that thinks they'll get away with everything to court.
The man returned back to the station, He went with two men to the rich man's house. On getting there he met the father and son chatting in the compound. “Good day sir, we are from Onigaari Police Station and we're here to arrest your son. “What could he have done”, the rich man said. They turned to the offender “hey follow us and respect yourself”, without much talks, he followed them and his father drove behind them. “He's just a child, he didn't do it intentional”, The rich man pleaded. “But why didn't you help the poor woman when she came for help?” the Police man asked. “we actually taught she was lying” he replied. “Anyways his trial is in two days, the judge will decide”.  The policeman said. No! You can’t do that! Okay let's do it this way, I will give you the sum of Two hundred thousand naira just for you to dismiss the case. The Man agreed with him.
On the day of the trial, silence in the courtroom, everyone was eager to hear the judgment. “Now it’s time the witness to step up for Clarification”, the judged said. The man stood up, the rich man was shocked. He narrated everything, the rich man shouted from the crowd "but I bribed you" The man laughed, The money you gave me was used to treat the girl your son hit with his car. If I hadn't collected the money you might have sought elsewhere and probably, you might get away with it leaving the poor girl and her mother hopeless.
